Yes, some cities go crazy for The Oscar’s, and Los Angeles being the place where it all started and is held goes crazy. Personally I find them extremely boring, but still more exciting than the Superbowl, so I’m looking forward to going to some Oscar parties tomorrow and into the night. Maybe. Just like the Superbowl not everyone actually watches what’s going on, but depending on who you’re watching them with around here, you’re most likely going to know someone who’s got a family member or co-worker up for an award, so that makes it a little more interesting for me. Either way it’s good food and an excuse to hang out with friends. Yes I “have my picks”, but don’t really care to share them cause I’m not a die hard. In fact I find most actors are extremely weird…. which is why they can be fun to hang out with haha. Me, ChadM (2012 arrives later this week I think), Cory, and some other friends are all going to chill down by the ocean and watch the Oscars, then probably head out late once things start poppin. Playing it by ear though, so who knows, I may end up right back at home in my PJs playing video games lol.

It’s been raining all day which has been nice. Always feels like a different country in LA when it rains. Today while driving I was pretending I was in the Jurassic Park scene where the fat guy is driving through the rain and ends up getting eaten by the tar spitting dino. I usually default to that scene when it rains. The thing that really bothers me is that my dog won’t go to the bathroom when it rains! I let her out, she stands in the rain looking at me like I’m being cruel, then walks right back in. She’s such a snob.
